Committee description
The G2Z Prevention and Research Committee is charged with developing recommendations and identifying research opportunities for comprehensive HIV/AIDS prevention, directed towards key high-risk communities and populations of interest. These efforts include, but not limited to, ensuring the effective implementation of biomedical, behavioral and social science advances in the prevention of HIV/AIDS, expanding HIV testing in public and private healthcare settings, treatment as prevention, and developing innovative strategies for engaging and testing persons in vulnerable populations. This Committee is directly focused on reducing new HIV infections, “getting to zero” in Miami-Dade County.

Meeting 1 = Wednesday October 12, 2016 from 1pm – 3pm
